Kevin "The Monster" Randleman was an amateur wrestling standout at Ohio State University, where he was a Division I NCAA Champion twice. He began his mixed martial arts career in October 1996 and won his first five MMA fights.
Over the course of the years Kevin Randleman would go on to fight in the UFC seven times and in Pride eleven times. In the nine fights he has had from 2003 to 2006, he has won two.
Kevin Randleman was said to have caught a severe MRSA staph infection in 2007, the same year in which he was said to have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He did not fight at all that year.
