Robert Drysdale is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from Brasa, a BJJ team which includes such competitors as Demian Maia and Andre Galvao. He was born in the United States to an American father and Brazilian mother, and was raised in Brazil. His biggest accomplishment was his 2007 submission victory over Marcelo Garcia in the absolute division of the Abu Dhabi Combat Club submission grappling championship.
Today Robert Drysdale is a grappling instructor in Las Vegas at Randy Couture's gym.
In October 2008 Robert Drysdale defeated Josh Musick in an amateur Tuff-N-uff MMA event in Las Vegas by armbar.
