Reis was supposed to fight in the ShoXC card in April 2008 against former UFC fighter Doug Evans, but was reportedly pulled from the card by the CSAC for reasons that remain unknown.
Wilson Reis' fourth win was at the first EliteXC on CBS against Justin Robbins, just one week before he was to fight in the 2008 Brazilian jiu-jitsu world championships in Los Angeles.
Most of Wilson Reis' victories come by submission.
In September 2008 Wilson Reis eked out a 5 round decision victory against Abel Cullum to become the first-ever EliteXC bantamweight champion.
