UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Song Betting Odds

UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs. Song Main Card Predictions

Henry Cejudo vs. Yadong Song Prediction

Most of the early money has come for Song, who is the much younger fighter and he could get the better of the former champion.

Song is 21-7-1 following a decision loss to former champion Petr Yan last March. However, he has been given time to get over that loss, and he looked much better in 2023 when beating Chris Gutierrez and Ricky Simon.

The 27-year-old faces Cejudo, 11 years his senior, and he could take advantage of Cejudo slowing down. Cejudo is one of the best bantamweights in history, but he was soundly beaten by Merab Dvalishvili, landing just 29 significant strikes over three rounds.

We think Cejudo’s best years are behind him, hence the +210 odds. It’s an attractive price, but Song will throw a lot at the 38-year-old, and we can’t see him handling it. Therefore, lock in –260 for Song in the main event.

Prediction: Song by Decision

Brendan Allen vs. Anthony Hernandez Prediction

We have always been impressed by Anthony Hernandez, who could have a big 2025, kicking off with a win over Allen.

The 31-year-old had a frustrating 2024, packed with canceled fights. However, he ended the year with a knockout win over Michel Pereira, and that’s an excellent form guide for this fight.

He has beaten some of the best middleweights in the UFC, including Edmen Shahbazyan in 2023. Wins over top fighters should make him tough to beat, and Allen is there for the taking after losing to Nassourdine Imanov last year.

He attempted 10 takedowns and landed only one, so if Hernandez can defend when Allen shoots for the legs, he should have too much power for the +220 underdog.

We’re happy to take the short odds for Hernandez, who could make a name for himself this year.

Prediction: Anthony Hernandez by KO/TKO

Jean Silva vs. Melsik Baghdasaryan Prediction

Jean Silva is one of the shortest-priced favorites on the UFC Fight Night card at –590, and we think the odds are accurate.

Since arriving in the UFC, he has been devastatingly good, going 3-0 and winning all three fights by knockout. He defeated Westin Wilson in the first round, Charles Jourdain in the second round, and Drew Dober in the third round.

That’s not good news for Melsik Baghdasaryan, who hasn’t fought since 2023 after having three canceled fights in 2024. He won his most recent fight by decision against Tucker Lutz, but the +415 underdog faces a steep rise in class.

Include Silva in UFC parlays as an odds booster.

Prediction: Jean Silva by KO

Alonzo Menifield vs. Julius Walker Prediction

Alonza Menifield was meant to fight Oumar Sy, which would have been an exciting fight. However, he now faces 6-0 Julius Walker, who doesn’t have nearly the same level of experience.

Walker has been fighting in Peak Fighting and Synergy, which isn’t a good guide for this fight. He fights a dangerous Menifield, who is desperate to get back to winning form after losing twice in 2024.

He lost to Carlos Ulberg and Azamat Murzakanov by knockout, but against a lesser-known fighter, he should make an impact in the light heavyweight division on Saturday.

Prediction: Alonza Menifield by KO

—-

Ion Cutelaba vs. Ibo Aslan Prediction

Ibo Aslan is the -145 favorite against Ion Cutelaba, and it should be a close fight between the light heavyweights.

Cutelaba bounced back from a loss to Phillipe Lins with a decision victory over Ivan Erslan, but Aslan has made a big impact since arriving in the UFC. He scored a third-round KO of Anton Turkalj in March before knocking out Raffael Cerqueira in 51 seconds.

He brings the power, and although Cutelaba is his toughest fight by some margin, Aslan could quickly rise through the ranks.

Prediction: Ibo Aslan by Decision
