UFC Fight Night: Dern vs. Ribas 2 Main Card
Mackenzie Dern vs. Amanda Ribas
Dern was the most popular name in the UFC for some time, but it’s fair to say her reputation exceeds her performances inside the Octagon. Rightfully, she’s the sizable +170 underdog to even the series against Ribas at 1-1, following a decision loss in 2019.
The 31-year-old American had a mixed 2024, including a loss to Amanda Lemos before beating the promising Loopy Godinez in a close decision. That win should give Dern confidence, but she will need to increase her work rate against a tireless Ribas.
Ribas is 13-5 following a loss to Rose Namajunas last March. She hasn’t fought for 10 months following a hectic fight, where she landed 83 significant strikes and four takedowns, but she was slightly outworked by the former UFC champion.
Despite the defeat, Ribas looked good, and having time away from the Octagon should help her chances. She’s the –200 favorite for a reason, and although the odds are short, they’re worth including in parlays as she should have Dern’s measure.
For bettors seeking increased odds, take Ribas to win by decision.
Prediction: Amanda Ribas by decision

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Carlston Harris
Bookmakers can’t split Santago Ponzinibbio and Carlston Harris, who are –110 a piece to win the co-main event at UFC Fight Night.
Ponzinibbio is one of the more experienced welterweights, owning a 30-8 record. He comes off consecutive losses to Kevin Holland and Muslim Salikhov, with the loss to Holland coming by a third-round knockout.
Harris was knocked out in the first round against Kalinn Williams in 2024. It wasn’t a good performance for the 37-year-old, and we question his ability to bounce back from a devastating knockout. Therefore, our money is on Ponzinibbio.
He has more ringcraft than his opponent, and getting –110 for a fighter of his magnitude is a fair price from bookmakers.
Prediction: Santiago Ponzinibbio by decision

Cesar Almeida vs. Abdul Razak Alhassan
We have been impressed with Cesar Almeida since making his way to the UFC, and although he lost to Roman Kopylov in 2024, he bounced back with a win over the tough Ihor Potieria.
The 36-year-old Brazilian is 6-1, so he hasn’t had a lengthy professional career, but the middleweight has already fought on two pay-per-view cards, so the UFC thinks highly of him. He also has the advantage of being younger than Alhassan, with younger fighters owning around a 66%-win rate.
Alhassan is 12-6, and he’s had a frustrating time of it lately. He had a no contest in July last year before having his fight against Josh Fremd cancelled. His most recent win came in January 2023, so it has been two years between drinks.
Almeida is the –300 favorite, and he’s worth including in UFC parlays.
Prediction: Cesar Almeida by KO

Chris Curtis vs. Roman Kopylov
It’s tough to bet against Kopylov as the –250 favorite. He’s one of the more underrated fighters in the UFC, and he should handle Chris Curtis.
Kopylov has wins over Cesar Almeida, Josh Fremd, and Claudio Riberio, so he has beaten many middleweight contenders throughout his career. The Russian could continue the winning run of Russian UFC fighters, and although Curtis is dangerous, he has slowed down in recent times.
Curtis has only one win from the last two years, and we can’t see the +200 underdog making an impression on the main card.
Prediction: Roman Kopylov by decision

Christian Rodriguez vs. Austin Bashi
Unbeaten fighters always attract attention, and Austin Bashi has been heavily backed at –250.
The 23-year-old is making his UFC debut after going 13-0 against inferior opposition, but the hype is real for the youngster, who defeated Dorian Ramos by a rear naked choke on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Rodriguez is a steep rise in opposition, but Bashi could be a featherweight to watch, hence the short odds. We’re happy to include him in our UFC Fight Night picks.
Prediction: Austin Bashi by submission in Rd1

Punhele Soriano vs. Uros Medic
Bettors get underdog value for Punhele Soriano, who is a +162 chance to defeat 10-2 Uros Medic.
Soriano defeated Miguel Baeza by decision last year, which was a good bounce back following losses to Kopylov and Dustin Stoltzfus. The American is better than what he showed in 2024, and Medic could need a medic on Saturday.
The Serbian knocked out an ageing Tim Means last year, and he has knockout power at his disposal. However, if he can’t land a big punch on Soriano, he’ll likely lose on points. Therefore, we can’t entertain the –188 odds for Medic.
Prediction: Punhele Soriano by decision
