Belal Muhammad vs. Jack Della Maddalena
Bettors get –180 for Muhammad to win, and that’s a fair price considering he’s the champion. He’s not the most liked fighter in the sport, but his win over Leon Edwards to win the title was epic, and it bodes well for his future.
Losing the belt in his next fight doesn’t seem likely against Australia’s Della Maddalena. He’s a good fighter, but most of his fights have come against slightly easier opposition. He’s tough as nails, but Muhammad deserves to be the favorite.
The odds are getting on the shorter side, but the –180 is worth including in parlays, and there is also value in taking him to win by decision.
Prediction: Belal Muhammad -180
Valentina Shevchenko vs. Manon Fiorot
We have identified Shevchenko as the value bet of the UFC 315 card, and she deserves some respect on her name.
The flyweight champion might be 37 years old, but she showed age is just a number when beating Alexa Grasso for the title in 2024. Grasso wasn’t the greatest champion of all time, but Shevchenko threw 233 total strikes, so she deserved the win.
Fiorot is the fighter on the rise at 12-1. However, her lack of experience in title fights could work against her, and we think the output of Shevchenko will be enough to earn her a decision victory as the +114 underdog.
Prediction: Valentina Shevchenko +114
Jose Aldo vs. Aiemann Zahabi
Turning back the clock is Jose Aldo, who is back to make another run at the bantamweight title. The former featherweight champion has a lot of power for this division, and he should take advantage of that against Aiemann Zahabi.
Zahabi has looked good since making his UFC debut, and although we’re not discounting his wins, he hasn’t faced anyone close to the level of opposition Aldo has faced throughout his long career.
His record since losing in shocking fashion to Conor McGregor isn’t all that bad, and he’s the –200 favorite with good reason. Include Aldo in UFC 315 parlay picks.
Prediction: Jose Aldo -200
Alexa Grasso vs. Natalia Silva
As much as we said we didn’t rate Grasso as a champion, it’s hard to overlook the +210 odds against Natalia Silva on Saturday night.
Having experience as a champion is invaluable against someone like Silva, who has five losses on her record, and we’re not sure what all the hype is about. She was solid when beating a tired Jessica Andrade, but Grasso is a smart fighter.
She won’t stand in front of Silva all night like Andrade did, so we’re taking the underdog odds with the female fighters at UFC 315.
Prediction: Alexa Grasso +210
Benoit Saint-Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec
Kyle Prepolec is a late replacement to fight Benoit Saint-Denis, and that’s never a good sign for the underdog.
He has had no time to prepare for a Saint-Denis, who is eager to get back to winning form after a couple of losses, and the UFC odds of –1000 are justified. He shouldn’t lose this fight, and we don’t think the fight goes past the second round.
Including a –1000 fighter in picks isn’t wise, so take better value with Saint-Denis to win by KO.
