We have UFC 316: Dvalishvili vs. O’Malley 2 picks and predictions for the card Saturday June 7 at Prudential Center in New Jersey.
The latest UFC lines have Dvalishvili at –275 to hand O’Malley another loss, which could potentially end his time in the bantamweight division.
Julianna Pena defends her bantamweight title against Kayla Harrison in the co-main, which could be the best value fight of the night.

UFC 316 Main Card
Merab Dvalishvili vs. Sean O’Malley
Our UFC predictions have Merab Dvalishvili making easy work of O’Malley once again. He dominated in the first meeting at UFC 306, and we don’t know why O’Malley has been given a rematch for the title this Saturday.
O’Malley hasn’t fought since landing just 49 strikes to Dvalishvili’s 214, in one of the most one-sided title fights in recent history. There is talk that O’Malley was nursing an injury, and we’re not sure if we believe it.
O’Malley looked decent on his way to the top, but there is no stopping the champion, who we’re backing at –275 odds to retain his title.
Prediction: Merab Dvalishvili (-275)

Julianna Pena vs. Kayla Harrison
The disrespect for Julianna Pena is something else, and we’re happy to give the current champion respect.
She faces the tough Kayla Harrison, but with big fight experience under her belt, Pena shouldn’t be paying +505 odds with bookmakers. That’s an inside price for the champion, and we haven’t seen odds like that for some time.
Harrison could win, but at –750 odds, there is no value. We believe Pena would win 4/10 times against Harrison, so we’re inclined to back her at massive odds.
Prediction: Julianna Pena (+505)

Kelvin Gastelum vs. Joe Pyfer
One of the more impressive middleweights in recent times is Joe Pyfer, who faces the tough Kelvin Gastelum.
It’s never easy to beat Gastelum, who has gone toe-to-toe with some of the best in the UFC, including former champions. Therefore, he demands respect on the pay-per-view card. However, momentum is with Pyfer following his KO win over Marc-Andre Barriault.
It was a great comeback performance following a loss to Jack Hermannsson, and our UFC 316 picks have Pyfer beating Gastelum and getting a title shot later this year.
Prediction: Joe Pyfer (-410)

Mario Bautista vs. Patchy Mix
Patchy Mix not only has one of the best names in the UFC, but the newcomer could make a massive impact at UFC 316.
The Bellator champion looks to show why Bellator fighters can be overlooked, as Michael Chandler did a few years ago. His recent fights have been excellent, and he gets an easier UFC debut than expected against Mario Bautista.
We don’t rate Bautista very highly, and although Mix was a late entrant, he looks ready to go. Include Mix at –185 in UFC parlays.
Prediction: Patchy Mix (-185)

Vicente Luque vs. Kevin Holland
There has been trepidation when backing Kevin Holland in the past, but the American looks set to post a win against Vicente Luque.
The 32-year-old might have 13 losses on his record, but he never dodges tough fights, and Luque is one of the easier fights he’s had. He defeated Gunnar Nelson in March, and his recent losses came to Michael Page, Roman Dolidze, and Reiner de Ridder.
Those are tough opponents, and whilst we’re not ruling out Luque, this is a big rise in opponent for the Brazilian.
Prediction: Kevin Holland (-275)

UFC 316 Parlay
Including four favorites in a parlay is a good way to boost payouts, and that’s exactly what we’ve done with our UFC 316 parlay predictions.
Headlining the parlay is Dvalishvili, who we can’t see losing. He should dominate O’Malley again, and we’re hoping our parlay is still alive for the main event.
Pyfer, Mix, and Joshua Van are the three remaining legs. Van has a big following, and although –700 odds are short, he should win his undercard fight.
