It’s an excellent PPV card, headlined by Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira in the light heavyweight title rematch, where Ankalaev is the current –270 favorite with the latest UFC odds.

We also have UFC picks for Dvalishvili vs. Sandhagen, as well as every fight on the card.

UFC 320: Ankalaev vs. Pereira 2 Main Card

Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira

Ankalaev was dominant in the first meeting against Pereira, who wasn’t able to get off his usual power strikes. That’s why we’re picking the current champion to win again at short odds against the former champ.

The 33-year-old has only one loss on his record, and what makes him different from many Russian fighters, is that he owns both good knockout power and wrestling. He’s awfully tough to beat, and his defense is top-quality.

We didn’t think there would be a day where Pereira was made to look second-rate, but he might consider dropping back to middleweight after being dealt with on Saturday night.

Prediction: Magomed Ankalaev (-270)

Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen

We expect the co-main event to go like the main. Merab Dvalishvili is the dominant fighter, and better opponents than Cory Sandhagen have tried and failed to beat him.

His output is better than most fighters in the UFC, and although Sandhagen has been on a tear, we expect that run to come to an end. The American is 18-5, so his record is good, but Dvalishvili could go years without suffering a loss.

The –410 odds are short, but he’s paying better value to win by submission at +775. It’s a risky bet, so include him in UFC parlays at the moneyline odds for safety.

Prediction: Merab Dvalishvili by Sub (+775)

—-

Jiri Prochazka vs. Khalil Rountree

Bettors get good value odds for Khalil Rountree, who might have six losses on his record, but he’s a new man after beating Jamahal Hill with ease in June.

He made the former champion look second-rate, and although Hill isn’t fighting at his best, we were impressed with the effort from Rountree, who didn’t let up for five rounds. Going the distance was the best thing to see for a fighter who hasn’t always had the best cardio.

Jiri Prochaza is a former champion, so it’s not an easy fight, but we can’t justify the –180 odds. There is much better value for the underdog.

Prediction: Khalil Rountree (+150)

—-

Josh Emmett vs. Youssef Zalal

One of the shortest favorites on the UFC 320 card is Youssef Zalal, who got past a tough Calvin Katter in his UFC debut. That was a tidy debut fight in the organization, and although Josh Emmett is equally as tough, Zalal is heading in the right direction.

Emmett has been one of the toughest fighters in recent years, but he’s 40 years of age, and that should count against him. Zalal is much younger at 29, and younger fighters have a much better winning record in MMA.

The –455 odds are short, but he’s good to boost UFC parlay picks.

Prediction: Youssef Zalal (-455)

Abusupiyan Magomedov vs. Joe Pyfer

We’re looking to kick off the main card with an upset win with Abusupiyan Magomedov, who doesn’t deserve to be the +198 underdog.

There is a massive hype train on Joe Pyfer, which is understandable given his recent success. However, if he doesn’t get off an early shot, Magomedov could wrestle his way to victory.

It’s not often you see a Magomedov fighter at +198 odds, so we’re jumping on the value odds to have some money to play with for the rest of the main card.

Prediction: Abusupiyan Magomedov (+198)
